Tippium is an intermediary platformthat connects sports tipsters (individuals who publish betting predictions and analyses) with users who wish to follow those predictions. Tippium does not provide betting services, does not accept or place bets on behalf of any user, does not operate as a bookmaker or gambling operator, and does not guarantee the accuracy or profitability of any tipster’s predictions.

This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal information when you visit our Platform, create an account, subscribe to tipster services, or otherwise interact with us. It applies to all visitors, registered users, and tipsters (collectively, “Users” or “you”).

By accessing or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the practices described herein, please do not use the Platform.

We collect information that you provide directly, information collected automatically when you use the Platform, and information from third-party sources.

2.1. Information You Provide Directly

  • Tipster profiles: display name, sport specialization, historical performance data, profile photo, and biographical details.
  • Payment information: billing name, billing address, and payment card details. Card details are processed and stored exclusively by our payment processor, Stripe, Inc. We do not store your full card number on our servers.
  • Communications: messages, support requests, feedback, and any other content you send to us.
  • Identity verification: where required, government-issued identification documents for tipster onboarding or fraud prevention.

2.2. Information Collected Automatically

  • Device and browser data: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type, screen resolution, and language preferences.
  • Usage data: pages visited, links clicked, time spent on pages, referral URLs, search queries, and interaction patterns.
  • Location data: approximate geographic location derived from your IP address.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: we use cookies, local storage, and similar tracking technologies to operate and improve our Platform. See Section 11 below and our Cookie Policy for full details.

2.3. Information from Third Parties

  • Payment processor: Stripe may provide us with transaction status, the last four digits of your card, and billing information necessary to manage subscriptions.
  • Authentication providers: if you sign in via a third-party service (e.g., Google or Apple), we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from that provider, as authorized by you.

  • Payment processing (Stripe, Inc.): we share necessary payment and billing information with Stripe to process transactions securely. Stripe acts as an independent data controller for payment data. You can review Stripe’s privacy policy at stripe.com/privacy.
  • Backend infrastructure (PocketBase): user data is stored in our PocketBase backend database, which we self-host and manage. Data within PocketBase is subject to this Privacy Policy and our security measures.
  • Analytics providers: we use analytics services to understand Platform usage and improve our services. These providers may collect anonymized or pseudonymized usage data.
  • Hosting and infrastructure: our Platform is hosted on cloud infrastructure providers who process data on our behalf under data processing agreements.
  • Legal requirements: we may disclose your information to law enforcement, regulators, courts, or other governmental authorities if required by law or if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.

  • Transaction records: retained for up to 7 years after the transaction to comply with tax and financial reporting obligations.
  • Communication records: support requests and correspondence are retained for up to 3 years following resolution.
  • Marketing preferences: retained until you withdraw consent or unsubscribe. After opting out, we retain a suppression record to honor your preference.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, we will take immediate steps to delete such information from our systems.

No guarantee of results: the predictions, analyses, and recommendations published by tipsters on the Platform are their own opinions and are not endorsed, verified, or guaranteed by Tippium. Past performance of any tipster does not guarantee future results. All betting involves inherent risk of financial loss.

User responsibility: you are solely responsible for your own betting decisions. Tippium shall not be held liable for any financial losses incurred as a result of following tipster predictions or advice obtained through the Platform.

Legal compliance: users are solely responsible for ensuring that their use of the Platform and any related betting activities comply with all applicable laws and regulations in their jurisdiction. Sports betting may be restricted or prohibited in certain jurisdictions. By using the Platform, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age and that accessing and using the Platform does not violate any applicable law in your jurisdiction.
